BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 29-year-old Billings man is charged with grabbing a woman off the street last fall, raping her at a construction site and stealing her dog.

The Billings Gazette reports Joseph Raymond Weinreber was charged Monday with felony sexual intercourse without consent. He did not enter a plea. His bail was set at $100,000.

Charging documents say the 19-year-old woman, who has autism, reported she was walking her therapy dog on Oct. 5. 2014, when a man forced her into his car by threatening to kill her and the dog. She reported they drove to a construction site where he raped her in a portable toilet before returning her to a store. A DNA match led to the rape charge.

Weinreber, who faces 16 other felony charges, has been jailed since December 2014.
