(MTN News-BUTTE) It has become a weekly inconvenience for Butte Emergency responders and employees – another bomb threat was called in Monday to the Butte Courthouse.
It was the sixth time since mid-January that a phoned-in bomb threat has forced emergency responders to temporarily evacuate the Butte Courthouse on Granite Street and search the building.
No bomb was found in Monday’s threat that was called in about 1:43 p.m. The building re-opened after 20 minutes.
Police are investigating these threats along will assistance from the FBI.
