(MTN News-GREAT FALLS) – Governor Steve Bullock (D-MT) emphasized the need for all Montana counties to be prepared for any emergency, as he addressed disaster and emergency services personnel in Great Falls on Tuesday.
Bullock spoke to the Montana Association of Counties as well as DES coordinators about the significant impacts of fires, floods, and other disasters.
Bullock says the state received more than 250 requests last year from municipal and county governments for responding to disasters.
Bullock says communication is the key so all resources are working together in the event of a disaster.
