Court documents state that the woman told deputies she and Strause were separated due to his alleged use of meth and she didn’t want to be around it.

The woman reported to authorities that Strause was at her home looking through her mailbox. She said she got angry followed him down the road.

She said she was banging on his car, when he floored it striking her with the vehicle’s mirror and fender.
