(MTN News-MISSOULA) A stolen pickup truck was fished out of the Bitterroot River on Wednesday.
Authorities were called out Wednesday morning to the Kona Fishing Access after a vehicle was spotted in the water.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office deputies along with Missoula Search and Rescue found the vehicle at approximately 11:30 a.m. and a tow truck was called in to remove it from the river.
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Brenda Bassett says authorities then discovered that the Toyota pickup truck had been reported stolen over the weekend.

Callers to Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
