The Carroll College women’s basketball program was ranked No. 23 in the NAIA’s Academic Top 25, according to a release from the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association on Wednesday.

The Fighting Saints were ranked third in the Frontier Conference with a GPA of 3.421. Lewis-Clark State, with a 3.562 GPA, was ranked No. 8 while MSU-Northern was one spot back with a 3.556. UGF also represented the Frontier Conference with a 3.404 GPA to rank 24th.

Each of the four teams recognized on the academic list competed in the NAIA national championships in Missouri last spring.

For Carroll College, 10 athletes were honored on the academic all-conference team. Katie Estey was named an NAIA scholar athlete.
