(HELENA) A lengthy conviction record gets longer in District Court Thursday.

Troy Duane Hemen pled guilty to felony possession of meth, following his arrest in August.

In exchange for the plea, he was given a 5-year suspended sentence with the department of corrections.

Officers found Hemen in a car with two other individuals, all offenders out on probation for drug crimes.

In March of 2015 Hemen was arrested at 4-j s casino for possession of meth.

In December of 2014 Hemen pled guilty to possession of meth.

In October of that year, Hemen was given a 25-year suspended sentence for stealing checks from a Helena dental office and forging them.

The 27-year old will be on probation until 2034.
