(MTN News-BIGFORK) A Bigfork man has pleaded guilty to his sixth DUI following a crash in early October.

31-year-old Alex John Jungwirth pleaded guilty to a felony charge of driving under the influence in Flathead District Court last week.

Court documents reveal Jungwirth was arrested Oct. 1 after police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 83 at Landmark Lane.

Police say Jungwirth had crashed his truck through the guardrail, breaking it in two. Jungwirth reportedly lied about his identity and smelled of alcohol but refused to take a breathalyzer test.
