(CLANCY) A Montana Science Olympiad team is heading to the national championships.

Clancy Middle School’s team won the state tournament Tuesday, November 22, beating out 43 other teams.

After months and months of practice, the 25 member team showed their skills in different events and came out on top.

“We practice every day, lunch and recess, and we had after school practices twice a week,” explained the team. “Most events are two or three people.”
