HELENA- Extreme weather conditions have struck Montana.

The Rocky Mountain front is hit the hardest. Over five feet of snow is reported to have fallen in area.

The storm continues and has created whiteout conditions on the roads. KTVH’s Chief Meteorologist Curtis Grevenitz says to avoid travel if you can.

Temperatures are below zero.
