HELENA- A Helena man is arrested for his 6th DUI.
The Montana Highway Patrol says Kenneth Steven Berger was seen waving down traffic on Interstate 15 Sunday north of Helena.
He told one witness he’d run out of gas.
When MHP troopers ran his identification through their dispatch, they found Berger had a revoked driver’s license and five DUI convictions dating back to 1991.
He gave a breath test which showed his blood alcohol was two times over the legal limit.
Bond in the case is set at $25,000.00.
Judge Michael Swingley also ordered Berger, if released, to enter the 24/7 program.
