HELENA – Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton lifted one of the evacuation orders Wednesday afternoon for the Alice Creek Fire.

The Sheriff’s Office coordinated with the incident management team of the Alice Creek Fire to lift the evacuation order for the McDonough Road.

Dutton said a road closed sign will remain on the intersection of the road and Highway 435. The sign is to detour those who are trying to look at the fire.

All other evacuation orders remain in place.
