BROWNING-William Arocha, Jr., charged for the murder of Shane LaPlant, was back in court on Tuesday.
The trial for Arocha got underway in Blackfeet Tribal Court in Browning.
Arocha is facing charges of assault resulting in bodily injury, and negligent endangerment.
The stabbing happened on July 5th in East Glacier Park.
Witnesses tell MTN News that it happened during a wedding party near the Bear Track Store.
He is also facing a second-degree murder charge in federal court.
That trial is expected to begin in December.
