GREAT FALLS – After releasing surveillance photos from a Great Falls stabbing, police say a suspect is in custody.
Philip Prindle has been taken into custody in connection with a stabbing that happened in downtown Great Falls.
Just before 4 p.m. on Friday, police officers took Prindle, also known as Philip Craigie, into custody at or near a residence in the Rivershore Mobile Home Park. The park is located at 3308 Lower River Road.
It is not yet known if the residence is where Prindle lives, but police told MTN that he had been seeing entering and leaving the residence.
Police say they found Prindle based on a tip from a community member.
On Sept. 25, at about 1 p.m., a man who lives in the downtown Park Manor facility was stabbed in the alley behind the building.
When the victim went out the back of the building, according to the GFPD, he was confronted by a man wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, maroon sweatpants, white sneakers, red ball cap, and sunglasses.
The suspect then reportedly left the scene on a bicycle heading east.
Authorities have not provided an update on the condition of the man who was stabbed, but MTN was told that the injuries were not life-threatening.
