HELENA- A Missoula woman is charged with a 5th count of driving under the influence and causing a crash following a pursuit in Lincoln.
Sara Nicole Opsahl is charged with 5th offense DUI and felony criminal endangerment after she allegedly failed to pull over for a Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy Friday evening.
Law enforcement officers say Opsahl led them on a chase where she swerved in and out of traffic on Highway 200 before crashing into the rear of another vehicle.Charging documents say Opsahl provided a blood-alcohol breath test of 0.181. That is more than two times above the legal limit.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 45-year-old Opsahl has four prior DUI convictions dating back to 1993.
She also has prior convictions for criminal endangerment from 1997 and 2009.
Bond in the case has been set $10.000.
