HELENA- Local business and community members filled the Radisson Colonial Hotel Thursday for the 11th annual Helena Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards luncheon.
The event recognizes individuals and business that have stood out stand out in the community over the past year.
Local McDonald’s owner Terry Gauthier was named Business Person of the Year, Broadwater Hot Springs was named Small Business of the Year, and the Radisson Colonial Hotel was named 2017’s Business of the Year.
Radisson General Manager Adrian Ambro says that it is an honor to receive the recognition but the award truly belongs to his amazing staff.
“I’m the one accepting the award but really it is a team effort, and it feels great,” said Ambro
The chamber also recognized Peter Strauss of the Montana State Fund with the Don Fredrikson Volunteer of the Year Award and Peter Mollet, with Perkins, was named Helena’s Hospitality Hero.
