HELENA – The United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area was presented with a check for $24,650 from First Interstate Bank to support their work in the community.

Employees raised $7,700 which was matched by the bank and its foundation.

Brenden Craig of First Interstate says that they’re proud to support the United Way and the critical service they provide for the community.

United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area Director of Development & Marketing Dana Friede says donations like these make up a huge portion of the support the organization receives from the community.

“We’re just really excited and happy to be able to partner with so many people and organizations in the community to really make this a better place for everybody to live,” says Friede.

Friede also added that their still over $100,000 short of meeting their fundraising goal for the year of $775,000 thousand dollars.
