Ground blizzard conditions have forced the Montana Department of Transportation to close nearly 200 miles of roads.  US 89 is closed from Fairfield through Browning.  MT 464 north of Browning to Babb is closed.  US 2 from Browning to Marias Pass is closed.  Severe driving conditions are widespread through the area out to Cut Bank.  This is the type of situation for emergency travel only.  If you MUST travel, have a winter survial kit in your vehicle.  Travel through tonight in this area will be extremely dangerous to impossible.  The BLIZZARD WARNING will continue until 6am Saturday.  Winds will ease up Saturday afternoon before another round of wind up to hurricane force hits on Sunday.  Roads in the area could be closed throughout the weekend into Monday.
