BILLINGS – A Billings dental office is the tops among 300 in the country providing free dental care for Dentistry from the Heart, which launched in Florida.
A tent will go up in the Brewer Dental Center parking lot Saturday and serve as a waiting room.
Volunteers call Dentistry from the Heart the best day of the year.
This Saturday, 130 volunteers will help 400 to 500 people at Brewer Dental Center.
“They’re really grateful,” said Dr. Russ Homer, co-owner and dentist at Brewer Dental Center. “Often times sharing hugs with us and pats on the back and tear-filled eyes. It’s really a neat thing. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of it, seeing the impact that it can have in someone’s life who’s in need.”
The 13th Annual “Dentistry from the Heart” is this Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Brewer Dental Center at 2900 Central Ave.
Services are first come, first served.
In 12 years, Brewer Dental says it’s donated more than $1.2 million in dental services to more than 4,000 patients.
