Helena man charged with theft and burglary

HELENA – A Helena suspect is charged with four felonies, including using another person’s Paypal account to steal money.

Ronnie J. Valverde is charged with two counts of burglary, along with theft and tampering with evidence.

Prosecutors say Valverde stole a car, a pressure washer and two televisions from a Rainbow Road residence in late January.

The homeowner – who was out of town at the time – said his Paypal account was accessed by a laptop computer at his home, with several hundred dollars missing.

Investigators found the stolen car at a Chestnut Street garage with Valverde in the vehicle, allegedly hiding under a blanket.

Bond in the case is set at $10,000.00.
