The Helena Y serves 700 kids at soccer camp, families who attend Camp Child, a growing summer literacy program, not to mention the ‘family feeling’ you get when you walk in the doors of the YMCA.

YMCA Water Aeorbics instructor Leslie Evans said “Might be the only place that they get socialization and acceptance. Might be the only time during the day that they get to spend time with others, so…it’s just really neat that way.”

David Smith, CEO and YMCA President said “Not only our sports programs and swim programs but after school, summer literacy, it’s a complete package of bringing what the community needs to the community.”
