According to the Peace Corps, more Montana college students are volunteering with the agency.

The University of Montana ranked fourth among medium schools on the agency’s 2018 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list.

There are 34 Grizzlies currently volunteering worldwide, and a total of 883 alumni have served.

It moved from its seventh spot last year, and made its strongest showing this year after more than 15 years of being ranked among the top 10 colleges.

MSU ranked sixteenth among medium schools in 2018.

Last year Montana State University ranked twenty-first.

A total of 487 alumni have served in the Peace Corps, and there are currently 18 Bobcats volunteering for the organization across the globe.

Montana has been in the top five volunteer-producing states per capita in the last five years.

The Peace Corps ranks its top volunteer-producing colleges and universities annually according to the size of the student body. Since 1961, University of California, Berkeley      has had the most volunteers – 3,671.
