Two men charged with $2,000 theft

HELENA – Nicholas S. Clark and Ronald G. Eppers have been charged with robbery and theft. The value of the theft is over $2,000.

On February 12th, a Shopko manager showed Helena Police photographs of two men who had been stealing merchandise from the Helena store on multiple occasions. The merchandise stolen included Garmin watches and Dyson vacuums.

A store supervisor observed the men, carrying duffel bags, leaving the store without paying, and confronted them at the exit. The supervisor stated that one pulled a Taser/stun gun and activated it, which made the supervisor retreat.

The same suspects stole Garmin watches from the Great Falls Shopko store on February 3rd and 12th.

The maximum sentence for robbery is $50,000, or up to 40 years in prison. The maximum sentence for theft is $50,000, or up to 10 years in prison.

Bond has been set at $10,000 and they will be arraigned in March.
