HELENA – Helena City Manager Ron Alles has announced he will leave his position at the end of June.

Mayor Wilmot Collins confirmed Thursday that Alles sent a letter to the city commission, informing them he would not seek a new employment contract. His current contract expires June 30.

Collins said he has spoken to Alles about his decision, and that Alles will continue to serve until the end of his contract.
