HELENA – A 22 year-old suspect who allegedly attacked a female victim several times over the past few days is charged with four felonies.
Prosecutors have charged Abraham Nava with one count of felony strangulation and three counts of partner family member assault.
Charging documents say on at least four occasions over the past week, Nava allegedly strangled the victim, threw her to the floor while punching and kicking her, punched her in the head in another instance and also slapping her in the face on another occasion.
Nava has two prior domestic violence convictions in California.
Bond in the case has been set at $35,000.00.
