The temperatures for today will remain above-average. The high temperatures will climb into the low '60s in eastern Montana, while the rest of the state will only reach the '50s, aside from a few areas in southeast that will trend in the upper 30's and upper 40's. Today most of the state will have mostly to partly cloudy skies and windy conditions. The wind will increase for western and central Montana through the morning /afternoon hour. By tonight southeast Montana will have winds gusting up to 55mph. Rain and snow showers will stay in the mountains throughout the day, but a pacific cold front will move through the state, bringing unsettling weather and colder temperatures tonight into Tuesday. Travel could be impacted tonight if traveling through western Montana, and over mountain passes. Tuesday, high temperatures will drop to the low '50s '40s and upper '30s. The wind will slightly subside tomorrow morning but will pick back tomorrow afternoon/ evening. Another cold will pass southward across the border and bring even colder temperatures and a wintry mix for the remainder of the week.

Enjoy today's warm temperatures,
