Beautiful now but mountain snow returns

What a beautiful day! Mostly sunny skies and comfortable temperatures will continue for the next few days, however there will be a stronger wind across the state on Wednesday. Highs will reach the 70s but wind gusts could top out in the 30-40mph range. Thursday will be another pleasant day with lighter wind. A bigger storm system will be moving toward the state on Friday. After a partly cloudy day with highs in the 70s and 80s, afternoon thunderstorms will develop. Unfortunately this big spring storm will impact the weekend. Saturday morning will be partly cloudy and warm, but thunderstorms will spread throughout the state in the afternoon and evening. Sunday will be similar with some drier weather through the morning before rain and storms move through in the afternoon. Sunday will be a cooler day with highs in the 50s and 60s, as a colder airmass moves through the state. The mountains above 6000-7000' will be cold enough for snow. Cool, showery and windy weather will continue through Tuesday of next week.
Have a great day.
