A band of moderate to heavy snow is impacting North-Central Montana. The roads may be covered in areas from Lewistown to Fort Benton to Cut Bank. A weather disturbance bought mountain snow through the morning hours, and a mild cold front has returned bringing along cooler temperatures to the area today. Overall, today will be mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers spread across the state. The snow will be on-going along the Continental Divide and over portions of Southwest Montana. The mountains and higher elevations will have more accumulating snowfall. The mountains pass over the western areas may be challenging to drive. Saturday and Sunday will have areas of light snow and colder temperatures. The high temperature for Saturday will only reach the 20s and 30s. Sunday will have partly cloudy skies with scattered mountain snow showers. Highs will range from the 0s and 10s to the northeast, with the 20s for the rest of the state.
