BOZEMAN – A group of 3 young men are traveling the continental US in a 1996 stretch limousine in the hopes of gaining enough attention to be guests on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

After visiting 44 states, they broke down outside of Big Sky and had their limo towed to Bozeman.

Jake Triplett, Kyle Brown and Ty Gatewood started the trip in Maine, where they purchased the limo. While they say the objective is to end up on the Ellen Show, they’re also spreading positivity and helping people out along the way.

A GoFundMe page started by the trio has raised $8,000 and they say it’s going towards people they meet along the trip.

They say $2,500 went to a man looking to buy a car after being recently released from prison; other money has gone towards school supplies, non-profits, and buying meals for veterans they meet.

“Right now we look at every day with the hope of getting to help someone or the hope of spreading some good positivity, and so I’m hoping if nothing else the pattern of that will continue after this trip is over with,” said Triplett.

Fuel, food and other expenses are paid for by sponsors including a law firm, reusable and travel drink company and video creation company.
