HELENA – Jesse is 7 years old and is a real people “person,” so to speak. She came into the shelter in early May when her previous owners could no longer care for her. They knew that Humane Society staff were better equipped in determining Jesse’s allergies, and could help her lead a more comfortable life.
The Lewis and Clark Humane Society has been hard at work, figuring out how to alleviate the itching and determining the root cause of her allergies.
Her full allergy test results have not come back from the veterinarian yet, but in the mean time Jesse has had great improvements with dietary changes and regular baths. Staff say she loves being pampered twice weekly.
Once the root cause of her allergies is determined, her condition will be simple to manage. A high-quality diet will do the trick.
Meet Jesse at the Humane Society on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-6, and Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-4:30.
