Last weekend, the Lewis and Clark Humane Society's clear the shelters event united many pets with new owners.
But not every animal left the building- Abbott is one of the few dogs left in the shelter last Saturday.
He came to the shelter in early August after spending some time in the care of Missoula Animal Control.
He didn't find a match in Missoula, but Rebecca Howard, the Dog Program Coodrdinator for the Lewis and Clark Humane Society is confident that he'll find a forever home in Helena.
"He's just the most lovable," Howard remarked.
Abbott is energetic, outgoing, and loves to give hugs. He's still a puppy, though, and could benefit from some training. But he is sure to be a great addition to any home.
