HELENA — Grimmel might be a familiar furry face to some. He was a featured Pet of the Week earlier in October.

Grimmel came off the streets and into the Lewis and Clark Humane Society in September. He found a home for a little while, but is now back at the shelter.

Cat Program Coordinator Katie Axline-Pittman said she would love to find him a permanent home.

The two-year-old cat prefers to be the king of the castle, and that’s made it difficult to find a home that’s the right fit.

Grimmel needs to be the only kitty, and wouldn’t do well around young kids.

"I think he's the kind of cat that wants to sit on the couch with you,” Axline-Pittman said. “He's not overly needy, which is good too… He's happy to do his own thing and spend time with you when he wants."

You can visit Grimmel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12-6, and Thursdays and Saturdays from 12-4:30 at the Lewis and Clark Humane Society.
