Electric Storm Settles, More Sun Into Weekend

Posted at
and last updated

Thursday was an electric day with showers and thunderstorms across the state. This disturbance will still produce some showers and mountain snow showers into Friday morning. Friday will not be as active as the atmosphere stabilizes some. There still will be a few isolated showers, isolated mountain snow showers, and isolated thunderstorms through the afternoon. The wind will still be noticeable. The last weekend in April will be great. Saturday will start out sunny but clouds will increase through the afternoon. A weak trough will move through the state Saturday night with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms that will clear by Sunday morning. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a stiff west wind. Highs will be in the 60s. Another front with scattered showers and thunderstorms will go through on Monday afternoon. After that, a ridge of high pressure develops with sunshine and the warmest weather so far in 2020. Highs will approach 80 on Wednesday!
Have a great day!
