Flakes Flying After Halloween Too

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the higher terrain of central Montana through tonight for several inches of snow.

Happy Halloween! A few flakes were flying around the state along with some witches as well. Scattered snow showers will taper off by Friday morning as this weak storm system moves away. Friday will be a bright, sunny first day of November. Highs will once again be cold in the 20s and 30s. The first weekend of November will have more clouds but slightly warmer temperatures. Saturday will have highs in the 30s and 40s with an isolated rain or snow shower in the mountains. Sunday will be mostly cloudy but rain and snow should hold off until late in the day. Another cold front will move down into Montana by Monday with areas of light snow. A little accumulation up to an inch or two is possible but this front will not have much moisture to work with. On the cold side of the front will be a reinforcing shot of chilly weather. Highs will stay in the 20s and 30s, well below average. Another round of snow is possible midweek before temperatures moderate some.

Have a great day!
