A WIND CHILL ADVISORY will remain in effect until 11am Thursday for; Northern Phillips County.

Most of the state has been wondering where is the arctic air; well, if you happen to live in northeast Montana, that is where that cold air is trapped. A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued for portions of Northeast Montana. The rest of the state will have semi-cold temperatures and slightly breezy conditions at times. The wind will start to die down as the day continues, but blowing and drifting snow is still possible. The snow showers will carry on into southwest, southeast, and portions of central Montana. The snow will be substantial in the Mountains, and slightly mild in the lower elevations. Some areas in the lower elevations will see up to 4'' of snow. With the temperatures dropping well below freezing, it can cause hazards driving conditions. Northwestern Montana roads are wet and icy, in the Northeast of the state the roads are covered with snow, and in portions of southwest Montana black ice have been reported. The cold temperatures will only stick around today and tonight. The High temperatures for today will range anywhere between 0° in northeast Montana and the '20s and low 30's for the rest of the state. Tomorrow will be partly to mostly cloudy with windy conditions. The wind will first pick up off The Rocky Mountain front for the morning hours, but towards the afternoon/evening hours, the wind will be more widespread for the area. The temperatures will start to rebound for the state with the high temperatures in the 30's and 40's.

Enjoy your day,
