Today will be a pleasant day; with sunshine and no wind, highs will be in the 20s and 30s. Northcentral and northwestern Montana experience freezing fog, but the fog will clear out late morning. Portions of southwest Montana roads are slick and covered with black ice. Overall, today's conditions will continue to stay dry. Tomorrow the clouds will return, and the next chance at snow showers will be tomorrow. The snow showers will remain confined to the mountains, but in lower elevations, the wind will pick up throughout the day off of the Rock Mountain Front and in northcentral Montana. The high temperatures will be in the 30s for most of the state. We are ending the final weekend of the year with quiet weather. Saturday will the sun will return be mostly sunny with the wind across the plains. Highs will top out in the 30s to around 40. Sunday will be partly cloudy with a few mountain snow showers. The next chance at what some might consider a storm will be on New Year's Eve.

Enjoy today's ☀️ skies.
