A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for Gallatin, Park, Beaverhead, and Jefferson Counties through TONIGHT.

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY has been issued for Blaine, Eastern Pondera, Liberty, Toole, Eastern Glacier, Hill, and Chouteau UNTIL late MORNING.

Freezing Fog, clouds, and snow will be around for the morning hours. The Freezing fog will likely cause icy spots on the roads, but the fog will start dissipating late morning. The snow will taper off during the afternoon, and the clouds will stick around for throughout the day. The temperatures will slightly drop back down to the '20s and '30s. While driving, watch out for a few slick spots on the roads, especially driving through mountain passes. Areas in central and eastern Mountain will be mostly cloudy with snow showers. With everyone dreaming of a white Christmas, only a few areas will see snow. On Christmas, the western part of the Treasure State will have partly to mostly sunny skies with a few light flurries over the mountains. Thursday will be a lovely winter day with sunshine, light wind, and near-normal temperatures in the 20s and 30s. The last weekend of the year temperatures will be seasonable for this time of the year.

Happy Christmas Eve
