The new Missoula Public Library will house a two-story climbing structure and research lab and they are calling on community members to bring their best ideas.
Children, families, and all others are being invited to a free co-creation lab currently underway at the Public House in downtown Missoula.
Participants will produce prototype for the two projects using cardboard, crayons, and paint. National and local design teams will guide participants as they create their designs.
University of Montana neuroscientist Michael Kavanaug is helping shape the focus of this project.
“It will be a resource for the community, for kids for years to come. It'll be a place where they can come and learn about STEM, and have actually had the opportunity to get hands on experience, learn about cutting edge science right there on the ground.”
