Isolated Thunderstorms Are Back Before Labor Day Weekend

Good Thursday morning. A little moisture will move into the state today with increasing clouds and a few isolated showers and a thunderstorm possibly. Most locations will be dry. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with highs in the 70s to around 80. The fire danger will not be quite as high as it was yesterday, but it is something to watch heading through the upcoming holiday weekend. Isolated showers and a thunderstorm are possible through tonight into Friday afternoon as well. This disturbance will move out in time for the weekend. Saturday will be sunny and warm with highs in the 80s. Sunday will be even warmer as temperatures could make a run at 90. Labor Day Monday will be warm and sunny to start but a few thunderstorms will develop late in the afternoon. Generally warm and dry weather will continue beyond Labor Day. There are no statewide soaking rain storms in the forecast that could put a serious dampening on fire season, so until then please use caution when it comes to wildfire potential.
Have a great day!
