Although the pattern with the jet stream will send multiple waves of low pressure towards Montana, there will be some very nice periods of weather as well. One of those nice stretches will be Saturday with sunny skies, warm temperatures and lighter wind. Very late in the day there will be a few scattered thunderstorms over the western mountains that could come down into the lower elevations through the evening. A cold front will move through Montana from Saturday night into Sunday morning. There will be a few showers, isolated thunderstorms, and mountain snow showers early on Sunday but the rest of the day will be mostly sunny, windy and cool. Another wave of low pressure will cross through the state on Monday with a few isolated showers and mountain snow showers. The wind will remain a constant through the day. Tuesday will have a mix of clouds, sun and showers with a steady dose of wind. Throughout the week, temperatures will be slightly below average but still very pleasant to be outside in.
Have a great weekend!
