and last updated

Today will start off extremely cold. The wake-up temperatures will be in the single digits in central and eastern Montana while portions of western Montana temperatures will trend in the teens and low '20s. The temperatures will rebound today and will be slightly warmer than yesterday's temperatures, but will still stay below average. The highs for today will only reach the mid to upper '30s and the lower '40s. The sun will make it's debut first, and the clouds will follow suit. The clouds will increase this afternoon as the next storm system moves in. The mountains could see a few inches, and a light coating is not ruled out for the lower elevations. The showers will start over the western mountains and carry on into Saturday. Saturday's temperatures will trend in the '30s and '40s yet again. Most of the state will have partly cloudy skies, light winds, and light snow showers that will carry into Saturday night. Sunday will have partly cloudy skies and a mix of rain/snow showers. The temperatures will be in the '40s and '50s, and it will be slightly breezy at times. Monday temperatures will remain above average, and it will finally start to feel a lot like spring. The highs will be in the upper '40s and the mid to upper '50s. Monday, the Treasure state will have mostly cloudy skies and mountain snow showers. By midweek next week, the state will finally have temperatures in the '60s.

Have a Great Weekend!
