A “Code Red Alert” has been issued by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for an area between McGinnis Meadows at the Flathead County line.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post: “We have a serious situation with an armed, suicidal male in the Happy’s Inn Area.”
Authorities are asking residents not to call dispatch for updates on the situation and to keep traffic at a minimum and to stay away from the area.

***CODE RED ALERT FOR MCGINNIS MEADOWS TO THE FLATHEAD/LINCOLN COUNTY LINE***
Please stay in your homes and lock your doors. We have a serious situation with an armed, suicidal male in the Happy’s Inn Area.
DO NOT CALL DISPATCH FOR UPDATES. CODE RED CALL HAS WENT OUT FOR THE ABOVE AREA.
***KEEP VEHICLE TRAFFIC AT A MINIMUM..PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE AREA***
