BOZEMAN – The numbers are trickling in, and it was the most successful year yet for Give Big Gallatin Valley, as it surpassed its fundraising goal of $1 million in just 24 hours.

More than 4,700 donors combined to raise $1.2 million for 194 non-profits throughout the Gallatin Valley.

This marks a historic year for Give Big, as they raised just shy of their fundraising totals from the past three years combined.

Eagle Mount Bozeman and Big Sky Discovery Academy brought in the most donations, while the Gallatin Valley Land Trust and HAVEN boasted the most donors.

Bozeman Area Community Foundation Executive Director Bridget Wilkinson says it’s inspiring to see the community come together.

“I think it shows that our area is incredibly invested in this place that we get to call home, and they recognize that our non-profits are such an important part of our community,” Wilkinson said. “They are part of the life blood that makes this place so special, and so to have a day to just celebrate those organizations I think is really exemplary of how special the community we live in is,” she said.

The fundraising numbers are expected to be finalized this week, but to see the preliminary numbers visit Give Big’s website.

Greater Helena Gives raised $73,315, with 528 donors for 74 non-profits.
