Rossiter students at Carroll College: How will it work?

HELENA – Starting Monday, students from Rossiter Elementary will attend classes on the campus of Carroll College. School leaders held a public meeting Thursday to inform parents how the school plans to continue operations at Carroll.

Rossiter principal Doug Baker said staff will begin preparing the campus for Rossiter students Friday. From a student perspective, few things will change with regard to classes, activities and even the lunch menu.

The main change will be for students and parents to become oriented with Carroll’s campus as well as changes to the bus transportation.

Tom Cohn, transportation maintenance manager, said the bus routes are changing. Parents who wish to use the bus for their children must call the transportation department at 406-324-2100 for more information about pick-up locations and times.

If you’re dropping your child off at Carroll, enter the college from Lyndale Avenue. Parent drop-offs should be between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. with students heading to The Cube to meet with teachers who will take them to their classrooms. On Monday May 14 only, parents may walk to the classrooms with their children and teachers.
