Multiple counties are under a flood watch, warning, or advisory due to the increased flooding. Lewis and Clark County, along with surrounding areas, is under a FLOOD WARNING until late next week. A FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect for areas west and south of Helena, including Missoula, until Saturday evening. A FLOOD WATCH has been issued for areas along the northern Rocky Mountain Front, Great Falls, Lewistown, and Bozeman. A Flood Watch indicates that while flood risks may not currently be present, they are likely to develop. In addition to the flooding, we’re also dealing with snow! A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect this morning for areas in central Montana, and WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the Beartooth/ Absaroka and Crazy Mountains until Sunday.
This rain and snow will be diminishing as the day wears on, but the chance of scattered showers continues through the weekend all the way until Sunday.
Stay safe out there, everyone, and have a nice weekend.
