Carroll College celebrates 108th commencement

HELENA – Carroll College granted 298 students degrees during its 108th commencement ceremony on Saturday.

The ceremony was held at the Carroll College PE Center and included a number of awards and honors for students, alumni, and faculty.

The graduates received degrees ranging from Anthrozoology to Business Administration.

Karissa Procopio received her degree in nursing. She pursued nursing because she visited a third -world country and witnessed the health despair. She wants to use her privilege to help others.

“Do it for the people who can’t do it,” Procopio said. “Do it for the people who don’t get this opportunity.”

Carroll College also announced three retiring faculty members: Professor of French, Nathalie Caulliez, Professor of Business, Bethalee Schoyen, and Professor of Education, Lynette Zuroff.

They now carry the title of professor emeritus for the distinction and length of their service to the college.
