Weather Staying Quiet, But Flooding Is Not Finished Yet

Although flooding will not be worsening in the immediate future, there is still a FLOOD WARNING in effect in Lewis and Clark County until Thursday night.  A FLOOD ADVISORY has been issued for parts of Jefferson, Broadwater, and Meagher counties which will last until Monday night.  A FLOOD WATCH is in effect along the Musselshell river until tonight, when it will be upgraded to a FLOOD WARNING.

This week is starting out quiet as far as the weather is concerned.  Light showers in eastern Montana will subside as the day goes on, and clear weather will remain for the end of Monday into Tuesday.  Warmer temperatures, however, will increase snowmelt this week, and with another chance of showers coming through Wednesday evening, the flooding concerns will amp up again.

Enjoy the sunshine today!
