A FLOOD WATCH has been issued for the northern Rocky Mountain Front, Central Montana, Southwestern Montana, and West of the Continental Divide in the Kalispell area.  A FLOOD WARNING is still in effect in Lewis and Clark County, along the Musselshell River, and along the Sun River. A LAKE WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Fort Peck Lake today as well.

This morning started off quiet for central Montana, but the rainy pattern is not finished yet.  Starting late this morning, showers will move from western Montana into central Montana, bringing widespread but light rain.  This moisture will continue throughout the day Friday, with some raindrops hanging on Saturday morning as well.

Snow as low as 5000′ is possible on Friday.  Flooding is forecasted to peak this weekend, getting worse before it improves. More scattered showers will begin on Sunday night kicking off the next work week and sticking around through at least mid-week.

Be careful in flooded areas.
