A FLOOD WATCH is in effect for many locations on the northern Rocky Mountain Front, and central Montana, including Cut Bank and Great Falls. A FLOOD ADVISORY has been issued for the Helena Valley. A FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Lincoln and the surrounding areas.
Rivers under a flood warning include the Sun River between Simms and Vaughn, the Musselshell River near Harlowton, and the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers near Missoula. For the latest River level information from the National Weather Service, click here.
Today, rain will continue for most of Montana, slowing down by later this evening. Eastern Montana will receive the highest amounts of rainfall. Saturday morning, some raindrops will still be hanging on in southern and southwestern Montana but will clear up by Sunday. While Sunday may start out nice, by the evening, thunderstorms will begin again, kicking off another wet and stormy week here in Big Sky Country.
