BILLINGS – The annual Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses finished Sunday in Billings.

Over the last three days, the convention featured 50 presentations.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations in Billings helped host the event.

The region includes Montana, along with the northern part of Wyoming and the western parts of North Dakota and South Dakota.

In Billings and nationwide, the theme of all the Jehovah’s conventions is “Be Courageous.”

“Each and every one of us, we have problems,” said Joe Kurkowski the Jehovah’s Witnesses media services coordinator. “We have difficulties. We have things that cause us anxiety. So coming to a convention such as this, we get the encouragement from God’s word, his counsel, then to help us build our faith so w can continue to be courageous and continue on.”

The Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses has been held in Billings since 1974.
